About PANCH KEDAR YATRA Tour
The Panch Kedar Yatra is a spiritually enriching 11 Nights / 12 Days pilgrimage through the high Himalayas of Uttarakhand, covering the five sacred temples of Lord Shiva — Kedarnath, Madhyamaheshwar, Tungnath, Rudranath, and Kalpeshwar. Starting and ending at Haridwar, this journey combines devotion, trekking, and breathtaking Himalayan landscapes.
The yatra involves a mix of road travel and moderate-to-challenging treks, passing through holy river confluences, remote mountain villages, alpine meadows, and dense forests. Pilgrims experience early-morning rituals, temple darshan, and peaceful stays in basic accommodations such as hotels, camps, and homestays.
Meals include daily breakfast and dinner, with local Garhwali cuisine served in high-altitude regions. Accommodation is provided on a sharing basis, keeping in mind the limited facilities available in the Himalayas. Kalpeshwar, the final temple, is the only Panch Kedar shrine accessible throughout the year.
This yatra is ideal for spiritually inclined travelers who are physically fit and prepared for high-altitude conditions. The best time to undertake the journey is May to October, offering a deeply transformative experience blending faith, nature, and adventure.
